CODEX Book Fair 2026
Thanks to everyone who stopped by the First Bite Press table at the 2026 CODEX Book Fair in Oakland!
The event was another unique opportunity to spend a four days surrounded by the world’s best printers, bookbinders, and book artists. It was great to visit with old friends and make some new ones, as well as meet a few of our collectors in-person for the first time!

Banned Romance Books Written by Women: Chapbook No. 4
Progress has been made on the companion project to the book, Victoria: A Bedside Table Tale. Chapbook No. 4 in our chapbook series will come with a deck of 52 cards featuring quotes and illustrations of the featured books. We wanted this chapbook to focus on romance books written by women that have been banned or censored.
